8 people were injured after a hand grenade was thrown at a restaurant in Malaysia's central Selangor state.
This was not due to a terrorist attack it was due a business rivalry motive says the police.
The hand grenade attack was done on Movida restaurant which is located in busy Puchong district.
No one is reported to get killed due to this hand grenade attack 7 people were injured and only 1 of 8 of them is in serious condition.
Initial investigations revealed that the assailant threw the hand grenade at a particular couple in the outlet.
"I rule out a terror attack. The blast is likely motivated by business rivalry among the local gangsters or a revenge attack," says Abdul Rahim Jaafar, state deputy police chief.
The blast happened when 20 people were watching a football game.
There also was a similar attack on a pub in the year 2014 where 1 man was killed and 13 people including some tourist were injured.
