A crude bomb was thrown at BJP office which is in the heart of the city, parties says that there can be CPI workers behind this attack.
This incident took place in Thiruvananthapuram.
No one was injured during the attack, the incident took place somewhere around midnight, there were many BJP members there working for 3-day national executive and council meeting.
The meeting is being attended by senior party members including Narendra Modi.
Three to four workers were at the top of the building when the bomb was thrown.
The main entrance door was damaged when the crude bomb was thrown at BJP office.
The incident comes close on the heels of a series of sporadic clashes between CPI(M) and BJP workers in the past few months in northern Kannur district.
BJP leaders P K Krishnadas and M T Ramesh slammed the CPI(M), saying the bomb attack against the party office should not be seen as an "isolated" incident.
Party sources said that this attacked was planned well in advance.
A CCTV footage is being collected by the police which shows a man riding a motorcycle minutes before the blast.
Party members say that this incident should be attended by the top police officer and the action has to be taken as soon as possible.
