The national security advisers of India and Pakistan met in Bangkok on Sunday and discussed a wide range of bilateral issues.

Including Jammu and Kashmir in an unexpected thaw in frosty ties since proposed talks were scrapped last August.

National security advisor Ajit Doval and his Pakistani counterpart, Nasir Janjua, discussed terrorism, peace and security, and tranquility along the troubled Line of Control days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif had a brief chat on the sidelines of the Paris climate conference.
