COO of Britannica committed suicideA top level executive named Vineet Whig working with Encyclopaedia Britannica committed suicide by jumping from the 19th floor of the building.

He was working as a COO ( chief operating office ) for Britannica and lived in DLH with his father, wife, two sons and a daughter at DLF Belvedere Park society in Gurgaon's Cyber City.

After hearing the suicide news his father suffered from heart attack and is being admitted to the hospital.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the MNC executive had jumped to his death into the ventilation shaft from the 19th floor in Block C.

Police said the body was found in the morning by the sweepers and the guards of the society, guards said that they saw him going to block C of the society on Saturday, maybe he was planning this from Saturday.

A suicide note recovered from Whig's pocket stated that he is under a lot of stress and taking the extreme step as he is "fed up" with his life.
